What began as Karen Comerford’s response to opportunities in the existing custom furniture marketplace evolved into a creative collaboration with skilled artisans and craftspeople. Drawing inspiration from the principles of sculpture, graphic design and an interest in vintage furniture, Comerford Collection’s designs are simple, bold, and tactile — embracing the movement toward artisanal handcrafted products. BILLY KNIGHT
Sales + Visual Director
With an inventive eye and indefatigable energy, Billy Knight’s unique perspective and enthusiasm for all things design is essential to our company. Prior to joining the team in 2000, he was a proprietor at the Inn on the Blue Horizon in Vieques, PR which awarded him a feature in Architectural Digest and a mastery of customer experience. It’s this skill set that he brings to Comerford Collection, infusing our retail spaces with his impeccable sense of style and welcoming personality.
MARY KOHNE
Sales + Operations Manager
After working in admissions at Savannah College of Art and Design, Mary Kohne relocated to Bridgehampton and joined the Comerford Collection team in 2012. With a degree in fashion merchandising and experience as an event planner, Mary’s sense of organization and appreciation for aesthetics allow her to transition seamlessly between her roles in customer relations, design assistance and our ecommerce management.
