Cherner Armchair
Made in the United States
Designed by Norman Cherner, 1958
The original Cherner Chair was featured in Americana artist Norman Rockwell’s 1961 painting “The Artist at Work," causing it to explode in popularity. It is naturally robust while being light and elegant, thanks to its characteristic "wasp waist". This chair features a molded plywood seat and back, while its arms are formed from a single piece of molded wood in a walnut veneer finish.
