This week, Comerford Collection was fortunate enough to spend an afternoon in the greenhouse at Broadview Gardens. Without a doubt, it is one of the most extraordinary places you can find on the South Fork.
Broadview Gardens was first opened in 2002 by horticulturalist Catherine Warren, a devotee to the discovery and care of unique plants from across the globe (specializing in various breeds of succulents). The landscaping company/nursery has worked tirelessly to become one of the best in the area. They not only offer a wide variety of services in landscaping - they also offer a specialized plant finder service as well as an in-house plant arranging service.
The greenhouse, located at 651 Sagg Main Street in Sagaponack, is a host to a wide variety of succulents, cacti, trees and plants. It is home to one of the largest unusual plant collections in the area, and its variety continues to grow with every season. The company itself has grown exponentially over two decades (primarily by word of mouth) into the impressive business it is today.
Comerford Collection was thrilled to have been able to collaborate with Catherine and her amazing staff on this project. Using the vases and vessels from Comerford Collection, and the design expertise of Broadview Gardens, we were able to create a series of arrangements for a photoshoot inside their greenhouse.
